The Logitech V500 Cordless Wireless Mouse features an exandable chassis, a touch-sensitive solid state scrolling panel and 2.4 GHz wireless technology.

I'll be getting this for my GF's powerbook :eek3:

I use one daily and hate it.

Real computers? :hsugh: I understand if a 15" PowerBook is more then you can handle.

You use an MX1000 daily and hate it? Seems like a simple problem to solve.

That new Logitech mice looks chic, but I'd be curious to know what 'expandable chasis' entails before I let loose my enthusiasm.

I dont like the mx1000's smooth scroll action wheel. I perfer my mx700 and its bumpy scroll wheel.

If they release a new version where you can tap twice on the touchpad so it functions as a 3rd button then it would be a competitor; but until then all it has going for it is a touchpad instead of a scroll wheel…not worth the extra money imo.

The MX 1000 doesn't have a smooth scroll wheel...

:ugh2: Try dragging an MX1000 and it's base station around with a laptop.
