    Great book.

Did anyone want to go out and join the Marines and join sniper school after reading that?

I read one of them... One Shot One Kill or Marine Sniper... Which one talks about a bunch of different snipers from different wars?

    I have em both though

    Marine sniper. Good book too.

  5. no.

Marine Sniper is just about Hathcock. One Shot One Kill is about a bunch of different snipers.

Their both goot reads. In Marine Sniper, Hathcock mounts a scope to a Browning .50 cal M2. He was stationed on top of Hill 55 I believe, and was responsible for going on recon search and destroy missions. (?) One day, while sitting behind his M2 on the hill, he saw what looked like a young child riding a Ak-47 and SKS laiden bike, with ammo and grenades in stachels. He knew that the arms would be in the hands of the enemy that night and woul be used against his men. White Feather took the windage and elevation, and estimated that the target was no more than 2000 yards away. He didnt want to kill the kid, so he aimed for the front fork of the bicycle. Carlos aimed, carressed the butterfly trigger, and fired the single shot .51 inch bullet ripping through the bike and knocking everthing about. Kid got up, unslinging one of the many rifles and pointed it at Hill 55. His torso was then torn to pieces by the next round...

Wow, talk about the wrong decision for the VC gunrunner.
