:werd: First ice cream I made when I got my maker was banana. I did it more the "normal" way with eggs and cream, but I'm interested to try this way.

PROTIP : Bananas are slimy and hard to hold/cut after they've been frozen and thawed. For best results, I'd follow the directions and peel, cut, THEN freeze em. Stick them in a ziploc bag to freeze if you don't want them just chilling out on a plate in the freezer. The fat in bananas can pick up weird flavors from whatever is in your freezer.

Probably give this a try later in the week, sounds pretty good. I guess you could add some other flavors to it as well.

I'd rather just eat a banana. Plus Baskin & Robbins has Daiquiri ice for only 130 calories per serving. Nearly the same as the nannerpuss

I found it pretty sweet with just the bananas and a table spoon of PB. You could probably mix a pack or splenda in if you wanted

I was thinking a TBSP of Nutella but decided not to add more carbs.

Could always drip some on after it freezes.
