I have a GeForce2MX vid card with an S-Video out. I often switch between my monitor and the television to watch movies. However, to do this I have to go to display properties, navigate through about three more tabs to finally switch inputs.

Is there some kind of shortcut I can place on my desktop that will allow me to switch between CRT/TV without going through this hassle. I have the latest drivers, but I'm sure that's irrelevant. Is there anything that can do this?

I had the same problem and couldn't find anything - so I made a macro and put a shortcut to it in my quicklaunch.

I used a program called AutoIt - it's free and easy to use - to automate the task.

Can't you just output the same signal all the time?

That never worked for me - the settings always reverted to TV off whenever the computer shut down or restarted :dunno:
