I haven't tested it yet because I left my speakers at school. I just figured the onboard is better than what I have (Sblive! value)

finally decied to go from the onbaord soundstorm to audigy 2 zs and I am glad I did.
I used to not like creative because of their drivers, but they got they fixed that up.

the audigy 2 value is a decent card also

meh, I personally think the Audigy 2 is a piece of crap (I own an Audigy 2 Platinum ZS for those that are wondering) It will be my last creative card.

My onboard is 6 channel and the speakers are only 4 channel. I'm just wondering if there will be any quality difference. It sounds like there won't really be :dunno:

I decided to try and get an M-Audio 5.1 Revo.

After researching it, it looks like it will support logitech z560s and everything but it said there are problems with it trying to get a special plug for the subwoofer or something? I just wanted to make sure everything will work fine because the review I read was quite dated I think. For referneces, z560s are 4.1 sound, 2 plugs - 4 speakrs and a sub

I'm running my Logitech Z680's on a Hercules Gametheatre XP orginally a 6.1 but drivers updated it to 7.1 and eventually 8.1. Using the digital Coax out on the card, if I wasn't running this I'd be using an M- Audio Revolution card.
