Can someone give me the pros and cons of both? i am finishing up my container of ON Whey and am considering whether to refill with ON Whey again or try Muscle Milk.

I prefer to go with one or the other... or would you recommend both to compliment each other?

Muscle milk tastes good, ON doesn't. Otherwise, MM has more fat.

does muscle milk also contain creatine?

I understand each one is different in terms of chemicals and components, but what about known side effects and results? How do they differ?

i've never tried either one but just looking at the nutritional index of both:

the ON whey protein contains minimal vitamins and minerals, carbs, fats/oils and what-not so this would just be your regular protein shake which would be best within 60 minutes after a workout since whey is a fast-acting protein, meaning it will get absorbed into the bloodstream to your muscles quickly. But since it only cotains whey and whey isolate it'll only be in the bloodstream between 1-3 hours so you'll either haft to drink another shake or find another source

Muscle Milk seems to be more of a meal replacement because of the high number of vitamins and minerals, a reasonable small amount of carbs, 12g of fat (6g is saturated (says they're medium chained so not to worry too much about this) and the other 6 is unsaturated fat (good fat)). The protein content contains: Whey, whey isolate, casein, Lactoferrin, L-Glutamine and Taurine. The fast acting proteins of whey along with the amino acid L-Glutamine and the slower acting ones such as casein will supply your muscles with protein in a much longer time than ON whey.

the decision is up to you though, me personally i use iso xp because of its good quality of protein for the first few hours and right after a workout i eat some eggs since it contains the full spectrum of protein the body needs such as casein

    hope that helps

I have ON Chocolate Whey and it tastes fine. I'll mix it with water and it'll just taste like a watered down version of chocolate milk but it doesn't taste as bad as you guys make it.
