Picked up a bottle of 100 capsules, personal opinion on this stuff? Is it any good?

Well As long as you get 5g of it a day then your fine. ON is a good company.
At 5g a day, will this be as effective as the powder?
it's just mono powder in caps man.. no reason for it to not be as effective
I was thinking since it is induced differently that it might have a quicker/stronger effect.

Well the powder should go into your system quicker then a pill but maybe like 25min quicker..
it should be the same only it will take longer to absorb so you might want to take it earlier before your workout
Isnt creatine a post-workout substance?
Or should I take some before and some after?
My understanding is that it's best post work out to replemish used sources.

5g ,,,,, i'd take 1 before and 1 after,,,,, nothing wrong with 10g of creatine, i take 12g daily anyway
I doubt it will take longer to absorb. Your stomach is very acidic and I bet that capsule will be pretty much disolved before it ever reaches your small intestines were it is absorbed.
Hell, if it wasnt then you wouldnt absorb it. It is not like the capsule sits around in your intestinal track waiting for the capsule to be broken down. If it isnt broken down as it passes through the first time it will enter the large intestines and pass through you pretty well unabsorbed.
I know I'm tryin to get all the info (from multiple sources) before using. All the articles say no serious (unpreventable) side effects or whatever, but I'm just trying to be well informed.

Pills really just work the same way as the powder. They are easier to take because you don't have to mix up anything. What we really don't like about the pills is that it is very hard to vary the dosage. If you decide you only want to take 4 grams a day - and the pills are 5 grams each - your stuck. At least with the powder you could just use one less teaspoon.

I've always read that any more than 3g is passed.
Sounds like u like to piss money away two ways. One you don't use all you intake and just piss it out and two your making you body start to reject creatine because to much is in you system and you don't get any of the benes of the supplment. That's why you cycl creatine. So less is more with creatine.
ya that's why 5gs is a good number. It might be 4.2gs you intake one day and then 3gs another day while the rest is past. Having just a tiny bit more covers you on both ends.
thats' why i put in 64 ounce water jugs and drink thru day, from 7am to 10pm i spread out my creatine intake instead of just dropping 1 pill and pissing everything away
