    careful, some gun website will use this for banners and advertising.

    HA, but really this is very nice. the lighting isn't completely even from left to right though

    a reflector on the left side would have helped even out the lighting, even just a big piece of white card would work fine. otherwise, great shot! should have no problem selling with that.

    For a classified ad, I would take detailed shots of what you're selling (scratches, wear, etc) and not try to be artsy. These arent that great but the grip was sold in a day. The buyer emailed me and said he'll take it without asking any questions. Ive done the same with guns but people are so cheap that I ended up leaving it on consignment at the gun store.

    exactly...put your creative photography hat down and put your product photography hat on. The shot was completely unnecessary and may keep some buyers questioning what is actually being sold.

    black item = white background
    items being sold = details details details
