I generally take muscle milk or the like pre-workout and also with my postworkout meal, and take whey at the gym before driving home. I've been reading up on After Max, and I'm thinking about making the switch. I know it has creatine, which isn't part of my current routine, but are there any other advantages to using this over MM post-workout?

AfterMax has 40-50g's of Malto, 40g's Protein, Glutamine, Creatine. It'd be a better option Post WO.

Thanks man, that's what I was thinking.

Yeah, I do drink three shakes within roughly 2 hrs, most of which is probably not absorbed. I drink the post-workout MM mostly just to ensure that I don't start to burn muscle during the high-burn time after lifting. Want to make sure there's a big energy store.

 You're overthinking this. Just eat within an hour after lifting.
