just need to be broken in, but ive worn other peoples identical gloves and i love them, extremely tough and durable, great padding on the fingers, and the solid strip connecting all the fingers at the base.

I got some bag gloves that are MMA-size with gel padding and my right glove fucking busted open yesterday...

I may just get MMA gloves because I'm sure they'll be a lot stronger. I hate doing bagwork with the 16oz gloves.

Yeah it's definitely good for conditioning... but I keep my guard so tight I've actually hit myself in the face with them before because they're so much more bulky

I don';t think Fairtex gloves have enough padding for training purposes.

    their shooto gloves are OK.

I think all in all Fiartex gloves lack room for wrapps tho.

Other than that i like them, I think they look great.

I personally for traiing would go with shooto style gloves:

SSF Shooto Gloves - I've not personally used them but heard nothing but good things.

Oano Shooto Gloves - Heard nothing KNow nothing but Oano is good shit.

Fairtex Shooto Gloves - They even refer to them as sparring gloves. I've worn there, feel good, nice padding, solid build but no wrap room.

Official Shooto Gloves - Aint nothin like the real thing baby.
I can find nothign on them, that sucks!

Prime time gloves - I fought in these once, very well padded, great wrist support. a great training glove.

I think there was a company like COmbat Sports or something that makes "Kemp Gloves" like form Bruce Lee in enter the dragon, those are great for MMA sparring, a little bulky but great.

THere was another company that made a shooto looking glove but it was like 10 ounces. it looked great. I saw Denis Kang training in them he reemed to like them. if i find them onlien i will link it here.

Sorry for kinda takin over your thread

no problem, thats the kind of post i wanted in this thread, glove discussion up in herrr

and yeah i agree that the shooto gloves were made for sparring, but for some reason nobody at fairtex wears them, everyone has a regular 4ozish mma glove :dunno: if need be ill buy some shootos down the line

i love shooto gloves. I think they look cool as fuck.

but if your not fighting in shooto peopel think they don't need to wear them

I think the bulk on the shooto glove helps. your gettin a bigger object in the same area so when you use good ol 4ozers it should be easier.
