STFU, get back in here.
Yay you came back! I knew you loved me.
No compact yet though
I saw that, it was about time.
i've been thinking about getting a crimson trace for my 229.
How do those turn on? Pressure switch?
There's a switch, if you just click the link and read it, it will explain.
My Beretta came with a lasermax. Before I swapped it out for factory parts I gave it a try at the range. Surprisingly I was fairly accurate with the laser shooting from various positions out to 15yards. Still sold it though.
I had one on my G17 and liked it, but the only thing I didn't care for was the pulsating light, it's not steady. Or wasn't back then.
At least on the glock the lasermax is activated by pusing the slide lock lever. It's not the easiest thing to do under stress so your going to have to practice/train with it. I do like the idea though, and also like how close the laser is to the bore.
The crimison trace with the grip activate lasers just always felt weird for me. I don't like them because I've worked a lot with grip pressure and how it affects how the gun recoil. So having to grip the gun different to use the laser conflicts with my muscle memory. I'm sure that's more my problem than what others will experience.
I prefer the laser on the weaponlight. I really like the rocker switch for momentary on usage of lasers and light. I use the insight m6 but the surefire version is good too.
do want but wouldnt pay more than 150$
LOL my mom has one of these on her G19.
I have one for my G19, but I removed it after about a week. It makes me nervous, the spring makes me feel like it might decide to fail sometime.
Have there been any instances of a Lasermax failing as a guide rod?
i would probably get a lasermax if it wasn't fucking crazy expensive. like above i'd probably think about it if it was about $150 or so new
i sort of figure i wouldn't be using it in a crisis anyway, if something goes bump in the night i'm probably just pointing and shooting not clicking on a laser sight that can lead the bad guy to me etc.
