hey all im looking for a replacement for my f717 and after tons of researching ive narrowed down to these two cameras, I was deadset on the olympus, but now after reading quite a bit on its low light focusing problems im turning away from it, since I love taking low lights pics. What aboout the nikon, any experience suggestions?

Why not the Minolta A2? Between the 8080 and 8800, I think that the 8800 will be a better overall camera. the 8080 has some weird tweaks to it, though it is very well made and has a great lens. Its only a 4-5x zoom, where as the Nikon is a 10x and is image stabilized

Heres some info on the A2, all of them have the same Sony ccd, just different lenses and bodies

a2 doesn't really attract me, the dpreview.com review showed it was pretty bad image quality wise
