What do you guys think about the benefits of olympic lifts? Good way to build mass? Strength? Explosiveness in the upper & lower body? How does it compare to traditional weightlifting or powerlifting?

I may go on an OL program soon, just wondering what I should expect.

if youve got an experienced trainer that can show you correctly how to do them then theyre ok. mostly they are too technical a lift to just recreationally do. itd be better to stick with hang cleans and power cleans

definitely a real good way to build mass in the lower body. i like to mix oly lifts on dynamic days for a power lifting routine.

I think they are great for improving your athleticism, especially if you aren't a natural athlete. You don't really have to go that heavy either.
