    security is crazy and you cant really get in front of the group for front wards shots. anyways did my best in the -15 celcius and got a few shots.

    they arent really all that special and i find them pretty boring. if any of you PP whores are bored and wanna mess around let me know :o

    edit: That's before the windchill, it was the coldest place on Earth Saturday night.

    when iw as a kid we ski'd in -50. shit was awesome. empty hill and as long as you are properly geared you are hot.

    Friend's mom was supposed to do it in Victoria but she was one of the 6 who the protestors stopped from carrying the torch.
    Looking forward to when it visits Vancouver on the last leg

    I was in Edmonton and indeed it was ridiculously chilly.

    When the Celsius is the same as Fahrenheit (-40) then you know it's cold...

    I was in Calgary Fri/Sat and came back to Edmonton Sat night, there was a HUUUGE diff, Calgary was way warmer

    I have press accreditation to get access to the UBC route, and can apply to shoot from the vehicle. Still deciding if we will go that route for photos or not.

    yeah it was fine. it was even my cheap knock off battery that was in the cam not my NIkon one :mamoru:

    at the first location (pics 1 and 2) i was there for around 30 mins and the second location (pic3) 15-25 mins.

    i didnt know it was coming through my area until like 36 hrs before and by then it was the weekend. didnt bother to look more into it other than the route and be there before hand :hsd:

    depends on the area i believe. i think it was 300m in my suburb as there seemed to be a lot of younger kids in the relay

    Holy shit :bowdown: I spent about a month there working for the Senators during their playoff run. I totally recognized that shopping center. There is a Henry's down that road, closer to the arena. I bought a D40x when I was there :cool:
