Here is where you post pics or talk about your favorite car audio equipment.
Wether you own them or not. Just a thumbs up to good stuff....

I currently run a VERY rare set of CLASS A Adcom amps in my car. A rare 4 channel amp that's 50 watts x 4 and 1 ohm stable and a 2 channel amp that's about 500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms. The sound quality is phenominal.

I might not replace them ever. But if i do, I'll be on the prowl for one of these beauties.

Wow the PG stuff is golden.
I'd love to own a 7909. That is the item to have for the best car cd player, without all the bells and whistles. Very few decks out now can match the sound quality of that 7909

Very cool thread. I have been in car audio since 1989. My best system used a 7909, monolithic amps, USD horns, and Illusion Audio subs/midbass.

It's all good, but why soooooo much power to the mids and tweets?

and DAYUM those boston subs could take all that PPI power?
2800 watts of PPI to any woofer is insane! I mean that in a good way.

You must have had some fierce power to feed that stereo system.

Pics don't tell the whole story - the wheel center on the passenger side is back almost 9" :noes: Both A pillars are crimped, roof rippled, all front suspension jacked, 2 air bags and a blown tranny from pushing the bent/hung up half shaft. I has a fat check though
