Anyone else annoyed by old people (60+) at the gym?

After they are done with their one set of whatever at 10 lbs, they go to another old person and yell about some bullshit so the whole gym hears. Then they go to a machine that I might want to do later, do their one set, and leave it all nice and sweaty since they never bring a towel. Why the hell do they go anyway, does it make them feel younger or something? I'll be home all day watching the price is right and soap operas at that age.

Also forgot to mention the fact that the old men seem to be the only ones who go buck naked in the locker rooms all the fucking time.

i know this one guy who is probably 55, pushing 60. he's in phenominal shape. probably 7% body fat, weighs a good 200, has that classic super dark contest tan (i dunno if fake or he's just a tanning booth junkie). he'd show down 98% of this board.

the other day he was standing on a box, with his wife beater pulled up looking at his abs (which were quite impressive). he stood there for like 5 minutes flexing and relaxing them, just admiring his body. i had to laugh, but at the same time give him a fuck ton of credit for being that old and that in shape.

theres many many elderly people at the gym i go to. most of them talk and bullshit around. but there is about 2-3 old men that lift very well.

theres an old man whose probably like 40-45 y/o and does 300lb+ squats, 275lb+ bench, and 350lb+ DLs... pretty good judging by his image. old guy is losing his eye vision from aging for christ sake.

I don't consider 40 to be all that "old." There are 40 year olds at my gym that could kick my ass.

    right.
as ppl get closer to that age, they will realize it too..

weird ppl are another story, but stereotyping old ones whom are weird isnt fair to those that do try..

jesus, be thankful that they're active, the aging population in western culture is going to suck funds out of every government, the less that are unhealthy and sick the better.

There aren't many old people who go to my gym at the times I'm working out so I don't seem to notice this.
Actually, I don't really pay much attention to the people at the gym when I'm working out. It's like I'm in my own world/mind set or something.

I mean there are at times I'll look up and see some dude staring while resting between sets....

I don't like it when people are alternating from one machine to another and they leave there fucking sweaty towel on the machine they're not using to save the fucking machine... :ugh:

actually i take it back...im sure there are people who been working out since they were like under 20 y/o and been contuniously working out. but this man was basically a Mr. Burns from The Simpsons (if you watch that show). hunched back and shit lol...but hes a very nice fellow eitherway

to think about it, there are women ive met that looked like a teenager but is really 25. but then again, there are teenagers that look over 25 :noes:
