Just thought I would post some pics of our 1970 CJ6. It has 29,000 original miles on it.

Thanks, it should be coming together shortly. The frame is headed to the powdercoating shop and the rest of the body should be painted soon. Then we start to rebuild it.

No, it has a camaro front clip welded to the original frame (which is in the pics), this gives it IFS up front. It also has the camaro rear end with 99 TA disc brakes. We have a 700R4 tranny and it will get V8 in it. Some variation of the 350, possibly the ramjet. It also will have a few items shaved, will have 17's and will sit about 3" lower due to the camaro front clip and moving the spring pack to the bottom of the axle in the rear. The color is Corvette torch red and it is getting an all new tweed and vinyl interior. We have all the parts to rebuild it sitting at my house so now all we need is the truck back and we can get started.

I like the idea of the 383 but its not my decision. Anyways, whatever it is I'm sure it will be sweet and decently powerful. My dad is already talking about the next one he wants to build. He wants a Studebaker truck, I'm pushing the t-bucket idea.

Thats why he wants a Studebaker. He wants to chop it and all that other good stuff. But as much as I like the look of a chopped truck, I think it would be cool to have something else besides a truck. Either way, I can't complain. That would give me two super sweet rides to drive around when I go home.
