Old house speakers..for car...

    I have some old ass speakers in my house... i was just curious what i would
    have to do to put them in my car? Like just sit em in the trunk, already in a
    box and everything...

    they probably wont sound good.

    what is their impediance?

    no clue... they're old, thats ALL i know...

    old crappy speakers? why? prolly not worth hooking em up.

    besides, most home audio speakers are 8 ohm.... car audio is usually 4 ohm.

    Well, you could just hook them up to your headunit. You could unplug the rear car speakers and hook the wires up to the house speakers and it would work, but probably wouldnt sound very good.

    back when i was sixteen i drove around with old record speakers in the back seat. they pounded like hell till they blew.
