like a dumbass, i had my glock on my desk, along with a cup filled with mountain dew. Apparrantly I had set the cup down behind my keyboard, but the keyboard cable looped behind the cup... well, I slid the keyboard forward to put it on my lap (was leaning back in my chair) and now I have to go field strip, clean, and re-oil my glock :wtc:

Better a glock than your computer or something.

Meh, don't feel so bad. I've had guns survive much worse.

Would have been a much bigger bitch if you would have spilled MD on the keyboard.

Beware the man with a plan.

(I do the same... and eagerly await the day for dishwashable wireless keyboards)

I've tried, but am running a pretty low success rate on that route. Laptops... even less so :wtc:

i have done it before. you have to disassemble the keyboard and only put the top layer in the dish washer.

almost none. it was all over the slide, and some how it got in the mag (the first cartridge wouldn't spin like they normally can) so I had to clean the mag.

I just used some 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol on a cloth, and then re-oiled the slide.

i make a point to buy 99%. I use it to clean thermal compound off of heatsinks, and things of that nature. the more pure, the better.
