What quantifiable goal should I shoot for over the next 6 months?

    My current log: http://forums.offtopic.com/showthread.php?t=2488589

    My initial goals were -
Within 6 months I want my heavy sets to be:
    squat: 365x5
    dl: 315x5
    bench: 225x5

But those aren't really pushing it. I want something I need to reach for.

    Relevant info: I'm 6'3", 227. Probably 16% body fat.

    C'mon fuckers. Help me reach.

My 6-month goal is to total 1100, at least in practice (pref at a meet). It might be a bit of a stretch, but I think It's doable. As of now, My numbers are almost identical to yours, except youve got ~30lbs on me. Especially if you have recently started lifting, those goals are by no means difficult, even if you said it was a 3-month time frame.

Well, I'm not a total noob to lifting, so these aren't my "walking in off the street" kind of numbers.

1100 in 6 months? Let's see, that would be 400+ for both squat and DL, and around 300 for bench...

Whoa. Yeah, I'd be happy with that.

its a reach, but klown did significantly better, and came from a fairly similar position. Don't forget, I'm still a noob at this and gains come pretty quickly... hopefully starting at a gym that has a fair bit of PL and Oly stuff over the summer.

Yeah, it's a reach, but I'd rather go for that and only get to 1000 than aim for 1000 and only get to 900.

Still, I'm interested in hearing other input...

If he puts on some weight and sticks with it, I dont see it as being impossible.

DL seems relatively low, maybe work on that.

Yeah, it's really low compared to my squats at least. That'll be one of my focus points.
