So I'm currently downloading Season 1 of BSG off Torrent, so could any of you guys give me a summary of what to expect?

I was told that if I liked DS9, I would love BSG.

    What is it about? :o

Man created the cylons, machines with good artificial intelligence. The cylons rebel, and there is a very large war between the cylons and the 12 colonies of man. They eventually agree to peace, and the Cylons leave. Then the mini-series starts.. I don't want to say too much because the mini-series does a good job of that.

Damn it, i am getting myself to want to watch it over again :hsd:

In the Season 1 download, there are a bunch of episodes, and then there are two called Battlestar Galactica 2003, part 1 and part 2. Why are these different?

    Alright. :bigthumb:

Why did they make a miniseries before the actual show? Was it like a teaser of teh actual show?

the shaking camera that zoomed in and out over and over again was a little annoying, but they (luckily) didn't carry that over into the serious.
