okay, im kinda confused on 1 thing

    why do you bulk? why not just stay eating what you normally do and diet and just work out like that?

    eating healthy=muscle with some fat if you overdo it

    okay, so should i try to eat foods with lots of protein in it? and what classifys something as healthy?

    okay so bulking = more muscle and cutting = making it show more?

    yes bulking makes u gain weight while putting on size. cutting is losing fat to get more definition.

    find out how many calories u need to bulk someone told me b4 its like Bodyweight x 15-20 for the amount of calories you need

    do u guys run while bulking? cardio? do anything to make the muscles more define? or do u just bulk then cut after?

    NO. That defeats the purpose of bulking. You want to define when you're cutting. I started swimming a few months back. I lose 6 pounds in a week. Not good for bulking.

    EDIT- Whats bad for me may be good for you though. Im no expert. All I have is my own experience.

    I do cardio. I normally run bulks in the winter months and I also go cross country skiing when I can or run on the treadmill at the gym. Reason being is I feel so sluggish from eating and the cardio helps me feel great.

    I also try to gain atleast 1-2 lbs/week. If you are just starting out you will notice quick jumps. I think I did 10lbs in one month but it slowed down drastically after that to 1-2 lbs/week.

    Still eat healthy foods just more of it. Bulk cycle is it normally 2 chicken breasts/ton of rice/ton of veggies. Cut or maintenance is 1 chicken breast/lot less rice/tons of veggies. Don't fret though if you decide for the hell of it you want to eat a whole pizza because skip it you are trying to gain weight but don't do it all the time because you will just put on fat and feel drained because food does affect your mood and you do want to be hammering it hard in the gym not dragging ass.
