here's the new setup that im going to purchase. just wanted to post it here to get your opinions before i laid the money on the table.

    all from newegg.

Shuttle XPC Black Barebone System for Socket 478 at 800MHz FSB Intel CPU, Model SB61G2BV3 Item#N82E16856101454
*****how do i know if this barebone is HT ready. i suppose it is.
*****prescott core support so it will work with

Intel Pentium 4/ 2.8E GHz 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 Cache, Hyper Threading Technology - Retail
    Item#N82E16819116170
***** so i suppose processor and the barebone both have to be 800 FSB to work together. and its a Socket 478 so that works with the barebone 478 right?

Corsair Value Select (Dual Pack) 184 Pin 1G(512MBx2) DDR PC-3200 - OEM
    Item#N82E16820145440
***** 184 pin to fit the barebone. i think this is a good set or memory. what do you guys think?

SAMSUNG 160GB 7200RPM SATA Hard Drive, Model SP1614C, OEM Drive Only Item#N82E16822152015

***** i heard these HDs are very quiet. i thought i was gonna do to smaller HDs but from an earlier post, i decided to stick to one big one.
    opinions?

Pioneer Black DVD+RW/-RW Drive, Model DVR-108, OEM Item#N82E16827129157

***** this will take care of all my burning needs. will it fit inside that barebone?

what about heat problems? do you think i will have any with this setup considering how small the case is?

    does everything fit/work together?

i think this will be plenty powerful and will last me well enough till i decide to get a new one.

    your opinions/advice are greatly appreciated.

    thanks.
