Ok, I'm in school right now and won't be out for awhile. (End of next year at latest) I'm starting to consider some Military options. I really like the idea of AF or Navy or CG. I don't know much, but I've been looking into some of the FAQ's on here. I love the water and I love planes so I'm open too a lot. I want something that will help me after I get out with jobs and other things. Any info on +/- of each? Maybe reserves first? I need a lot of help. :o

That's pretty broad, what kind of jobs would you be interested in?

That's the thing, it is broad. I'm in a Auto Tech school right now. I would like to build engines or something along those lines. Maybe some weapon stuff also. I'm open to a lot. :o

AS in the Navy maybe. You basically own all of the vehicles on a ship, engine repair, etc. Work on steam, gas, diesel, electric.

Weapons, some might say AO, but if you're on a carrier which is the only place you actually do the job you'll hate life and if you're not on there you don't actually "build" any weapons.

Ok, Noob here but I got a few questions :0

Ok, I'm in school right now and won't be out for awhile, mainly because I will have to repeat senior year. (End of next year at latest) I'm starting to consider some Military options. I really like the idea of AF or Navy or CG, but I'm not sure if I are smart enough. I don't know much, but I've been looking into some of the FAQ's on here. I love the water and I love plaines so I'm open too a lot. I want something that will help me after I get out with jobs and skills and chicks and other things. Any info on +/- of each? Maybe reserves first? I need a lot of help. :o
Don't ask me to give you any specifics about myself, such as my hobbies or what I might like to do with my life. I won't answer.

Well, cross out the AF. I'm not sure you could score the minimum ASVAB score.

well, decide on what you want.

i wanted to do something with aircraft, i got a good score and chose AF for my MOS selection when i joined the marines. im now a 6114, im a mechanic on Cobra and Hue helicopters. The most badass job in the world in my opinion. It also helps when i get out for a really decent civilian job. But you can pretty much do anything you want, just as long as you get a good score
