Anyone own one of these? Or had experience with these?
Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse:
Get some rechargable batteries, and a charger for them... you'll go through batteries like crazy! Dont have to worry much about a keyboard if you decide to get it too.
A guy at work has that mouse. I should really get rid of my trackball mouse I use at work.
Ive got some rechargeables already, their pretty good for gameboy/ digital cameras etc, i hope they work just as well on the mouse.
I didnt think they would use much battery.
Also, its just for laptop use, i cant use the touchpad well on photoshop
How does it perform?
this place says its pretty much crap:
BTW, im not going to be gaming with it, but i still want it to keep up with me.
But then this place says its great:
For gaming I would only use the Logitech MX700, with no other choice, I'd go wired. For non-gaming it doesn't seem too bad. I've used it a little, and it does seem useable without too much problem. Even so, I personally would go with wired.
Ive tried out the mx700, my hand feels weird on it, as i dont have anywhere to rest my 3rd and 4th finger...
I had that mouse, its pretty good.
Ack, get the Logitech MX700
I'm on my third wired Intellimouse Explorer
God only knows how much they could fuck up a wireless version.
Probably the best mouse I have ever used. Its only fault is it will eat 2 batteries every 2-3 months.
I can handle 2-3months, i was expecting like, 2 weeks.
And have you done any photoshop with the mouse? thats the main thing.
I said, i tried the MX500/700, its not as comfortable
I have friends with intellimice, they treat them like shit and they still work flawlessly.
You must be doing something very wrong
No, it's actually pretty heavily documented online that they have a problem where the cord goes into the mouse. The connections break under normal usage.
Ok, weird, hasnt happened to friend yet.
What about the wireless one?
