Firstly, thank you everyone for the large amount of help. You guys are are what make OT great!

    Right now my computer is:

    2.4 Ghz P4 478 socket
    5200FX Nvida
    80 GB HDD
    512 MB RAM
    Sound Blaster Live!
    MSI 645 Mobo 4x AGP

I have decided to go with the 6600GT AGP shown here.

And with the 6600 GT I am going to get a new mobo. The mobo needs to be a 478 socket with a 8x AGP and have at least 4 PCI slots. I have decided to go with a AGP mobo and video card because I cannot find a mobo that has both PCI-E and a 478 socket and I dont have enough money to buy a new CPU as well. What would be the perfect motherboard for this combination?

    Motherboard Recommendation

I have basically the same setup (except 1GB of RAM) and am very happy with my Asus P4P800S (it does have onboard sound but that can be easily disabled).

Here is a link to the specs:

    http://usa.asus.com/products/mb/socket478/p4p800s/overview.htm

The motherboard can be picked up for about $100.00

I would personally get either the Intel D865PERLL or D875PBZLK.

But the P4P800E-Deluxe is a good board, too.
