if it doesnt get bashed too bad, ill post the rest from this set. lol
its from Waterton Alberta.
p.s. i know my sensor is dirty.. cleaning it as i posted this
If I lived there this picture still wouldn't interest me.
if i lived there i would slit my wrists to see color.
I like, except the big splotch of black (the trees) in the front left distract your eyes from the mountain.
Looks old timey film-ish. Not bad, and the light falloff is a nice touch (intentional? doubt it, but neat anyway). needs more dynamic range.
I really like this shot. Could you post the rest?
its better then they think
i like it all aside from the borders, but that is your choice.
did you manually meter the scene or let the camera handle all of that for you?
manually metered it....
i have the raw file if anyone wants it...
annd ill try post the rest tonight.... P.S. thats the only black and white one i took
try playing around with the levels, i'd like to see some white snow instead of dirty grey snow
The contrast seems too high to start with.
I kinda like that high-contrast one. If anything Id say find something in between.
higher contrast is needed. If you're using photoshop use masks to get the spos that need to pop more to show and mask out the spots a little bt that look ok to begin with; ie the mountain area is almost at a good density.
