I am wondering how easy it is to purchase rifle ammunition, i am looking for 22 caliber ammo, I am not allowed to own a gun by law, but i have relatives who own rifles, and i visit them a few times a year, the reason i cannot own a firearm is because I have a small criminal record.

I was also wondering how much a box of ammo sells for.

the reason I want to purchase the ammo is because I dont want to waste my reletives ammo.

    thanks! :wavey:

mm... if u can't own one, usually also illegal for you to handle one.

but, .22LR is like $7 for 500 from wal-mart and the better quality stuff is more from $5 for 100 up to $10 for 50.

my reletives know that I have a criminal record, but they are allowed to operate their firearms on their farm, no one checks it out, or calls the police, everyone does that in their area.

Felonies aren't usually considered "small criminal backgrounds"

What happened to his post where he said it was reduced to a misdemeanor?

Actually I think you can handle them, but not own them. G Gordon Liddy, noted felon has his wife buys guns and he shoots them.

Wal-mart doesn't care about your recored. If you are buying from www.ammoman.com, you do have to sign a statement saying,
"There are no laws that prevent me from buying ammunition."

i would imagine that no one would check your record or anything when you bought ammo. i know when i go in to buy it they just check that im over 18 and thats it :dunno:
