nice, they should have asked for a refueling haha (im guessing thats a bomber and that would make the irony humorous...):noes:

    I don't think I've ever seen an F-22 with fuel tank(s).

    not really.

stealth capability relies on masking heat signatures, creating a smaller RCS (radar cross section), shape, and paint technologies.

the RAM paint, or "iron ball" paint that is used, would work on any surface, but the shape is one of the most important factors for avoiding radar detection....causing radar waves to essentially "bounce" away at an angle, away from the radar transmitter.

so long as the RCS isn't increased too much due to the tanks.....and provided they were shaped and painted correctly, it woudlnt affect the jet's stealth properties.........

certain people out there that when they reach a certain level they do idiosyncratic things like that make standard every day things conform to them rather than conform to the everyday item. I've had bosses make some pretty fucking strange requests and the answer "no, because" didn't work on them. People like this really truly believe that that the widget should also do the job of a wadjet as well.

Notice he's close to the desk and the line is already nearly strung out...He probably felt that the most comfortable position and the WHCA guys actually flipped the receiver / speaker around for him so that it'd be whatever he wanted it to be. Extremely egocentric.

What's not awesome about them? The fact that Russia re-started bombing patrols? The fact that we go out and engage them like we used to? Lots of awesomeness here.
