2x1GB for $150 shipped next day. not too bad for ram with a 1 year warranty.

Isn't lifetime warranty pretty standard on RAM these days? :hsugh:

Macbook Pros don't need dual channel, right? So since mine came with a single 1 GB stick I can just buy another 1 GB stick and it'll work fine, correct?

I don't think so. lifetime was like $30 more.

OWC RAM seems to be working quite well in my MBP. I've always been leary of generic RAM. I've always used Mushkin or Corsair in my desktops. I decided to go with OWC. I've never heard of them, but I'm new to the mac community and many who have been here a while trust them. So far so good :)

I installed it today and it's working great. It's crazy how noticable the difference is.

Which speed of RAM does a MBP need?

I have a macbook but I think MBPs take the same PC2-5300 as the macbooks.
