    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208341&CMP=AFC-C8Junction

    Reviews:

Pros: Popped this right into my new iMac and it booted up fine, no problems at all. Did a memtest and it tested without issue.

Pros: Works perfectly with Macbook 13.3" (Santa Rosa). Bought for $40 AR including shipping; works perfectly with included 512MB for a total of 2.5GB

Upgrade showed up today. You get yours through OWC?

Only if your have the latest MacBook Pro. Older ones can support only 3GB and the original ones can only support 2GB.

Only the most current MacBooks Pros can support 4GB of RAM. 2.2GHz-2.6GHz models but not including those from June 2007 til about Sept or a little later. Unless you just got your MacBook Pro within the past couple months, you can only upgrade to 3GB.

I am running 4 gigs because i can and it's wasn't outrageously priced. I basically never need to close programs... it's nice.

And for the hookup, I can't supply. I'm no longer an employee, as of tonight.

Looks like ya'll are finding better deal anyway.

My boss just got a new machine because he needed more RAM. Even 4GB isn't enough for what he's doing (8GB would be ideal). It's a bitch to do hardcore programming on a laptop at all but he hates desktops.

OWC has great pricing on RAM and they're very reliable. macsales.com They'll even buy your old RAM back. Great company (I know the CEO and he's a great guy).

Like I suggested Other World Computing (macsales.com). They have great pricing and their RAM is made for Mac. Lifetime warranty on it too.
