I was having a focusing issue here, CC on the colors mainly please.
wb seems to be off in all of them. the one with the black sweater looks weird. no detail left. awkward pose too.
Every single photo has some element blending in with something, his hair in the first few and his shirt into the table for the last few. Subject needs to be clearly defined back the background.
WB is off and the photos are soft.
no shit they are soft.
WB is off on all. The skin tones are green.
i couldn't stop thinking about hellyamotherfucker.jpg
the way he looks at me makes me feel uncomfortable.
And yeah, they are very soft.
Make sure to focus on the eyes and shoot at at least 1/160 to get it nice and sharp. I try to shoot at 1/250 for stuff like this just to be sure.
ya, I think I need to send this lens in, past few weeks it hasn't been focusing right at all.
He is a priest, I believe these shots are for a book, what exactly is making you all uncomfortable?
WB too warm for me.
his facial expressions and poses, and his hair.
What is the subject of this book? I hope it doesn't have anything to do with religion, because no one would know he's a priest based on those photos; only that he's creepy looking.
Good pics, creepy guy.
Needs to sharpened them up a lil though and you're all good IMO.
im opening LR right now to look through again and see if I can find some better expressions
I feel like his expression is more comfortable here
^best picture yet IMO
its sharper than the others I think, too.
A soft bg light would have fixed a lot of those, he does not stand out enough. That may have solved your focusing issue as well by giving the camera more light to meter and AF with.
He did shoot at 1/250.
nah, lens is having focusing issues in all lights, thx though
WB seems funky to me in this one as well. Thoughts?
looks fine to me, I think.
