That screen is fucking HUGE. Noticeable weight difference. Havent figured out liveview yet, even though Ill never use it. I think I read it only works in certain modes? I generally just shoot manual. Also I thought the ISO went past 1600?

Let me know if you want even bigger, more blurry pictures.

I recommend the 28-135 IS to help you out with that shake you have going on there.

perhaps when its an issue with the lens contacts or bad CF card...but the shutter on mine went all haywire so it had to be sent in to get fixed.

I'm not trying to be negative so i'm sure you'll be fine. :)

why does it need a huge screen? maybe im alone in this but remove the things I hate about using digital cameras... fussing with menus and having a little tv screen sucking my attention away from the real world. also be nice if the camera creates RAW files only... thus avoiding the need to fuss around with white balance and other adjustments that can be done later (like we used to do in the darkroom... remember?)

uh....the camera can create raw files only. its called shooting in RAW. but why fuck around with WB after the fact when you can just set a custom one and just deal with jpgs?

huge screen is nice for chimping. say what u will about it, but its a convenience thing. being able to see your pictures right as u take it, and if u dont like it, take it again. ppl that hate on chimping is hindering themselves of a useful tool. not even the best photographers can nail every shot, every time.
