    - 2007 holds my record for longest amount of time being single which would be 12 months. Ever since i started dating when i was 15, I can't recall ever being single for longer than 6 months. I had a 2 1/2 year relationship followed by another 2 1/2 year relationship, a 6 month relationship, and an 8 month relationship. I spent all of 2007 single and loving it.
Focused a lot on building/maintaining my friendships this year :)

    - I finally got over my anxiety w/dancing, and now it's one of my favorite activities that I engage in at least weekly.

    - Finished putting together my tangible graphic design portfolio. Many sleepless nights/weeks/months leading up until this point

    - Finally moved out on my own for the first time into an apartment with my close friends Wendy and Christine.

    - Finally got the courage to try wearing red lipstick and have been living in it ever since.

    - ditto about bluntly cut bangs which I had all thoughout childhood, but that's why I was scared to try them again

    - Finally started going out a lot in Long Beach and exploring the nightlife that the city has to offer-- so many bars, venues, clubs, etc that I had no idea about.

As for music, my favorite album releases of 2007 include:
    - Seawolf - Get To The River Before It Runs Too Low
    - Arcade Fire - Neon Bible
    - Travis - Boy with No Name
    - Feist - The Reminder
    - Metric - Grow Up and Blow Away
    - Simian Mobile Disco - Attack Decay Sustain Release

this year was disappointing. I seem to say that at the end of every year though :embd:

edit: the first couple months was rough because I broke up with the gf a while back and I was trying to do my own startup and film series while unemployed

This year went from what I thought was good to a nightmare to amazing to lonely to a pretty good end of the year with a plan for a great start to 2008 :hs:

There are quite a few things I'd have changed, but maybe a couple of years down the line, they can be properly rectified.

Quarter1. Jan-Mar: Difficult period, won't get into it.

Quarter2. Apr-Jun: Best time of my life. Fell in love, found everything I've ever wanted. Went to Edinburgh, absolutely loved it.

Quarter3. Jul-Sep: Things still perfect. Nothing in the world to worry about.

Quarter4. Oct-Dec: Personal life is still amazing. However, finding it difficult being home and living away from gf. Work messed up and I didn't get paid for over 2 months. Had a loan to pay off every 2 weeks so everything became difficult.Working like crazy with no reward just runs you down so much. Not liking college either etc...and I couldn't go because I literally couldn't afford to. Parents have been busy trying to sell one business and work another and with 4 sisters who are all younger than me I would feel bad relying on my parents for money.

So hopefully in the new year things will pick up with work and money and college.

Thats a reason why i joined the military. I had my college paid for years ago. I just always wanted to join the Military and serve my 4 years. It has shown me more than i have ever dreamed of. I've matured so much in the past year that i surprise myself every once in a while.

I'm not saying that the military has given me direction in life...... just that its helped me understand how far i can push my limits.
