Do you guys tag and issue your offroad vehicles that will be used for trails only? Reason I'm asking is I have a 1973 CJ5(I bought from an old deer hunter from another state that lost his title) and I went to the DMV to have them search for the vin and they could not come up with anything. I really do not want to go though the headache of getting a bonded title.

as long as its trailered everywhere you're ok, but if you want to park it on the street it has to be registered, and there might be a time when you need to drive it on the street, in which case it'd have to be registered... Basically just dont get caught, or make sure that all you'll ever do is trailer the thing.

Thats what I'm planning this rig will not do very well on pavement. The only problem I would encounter would be seeing forestry service on co. roads when I am connecting trails
