    IGN REVIEW:
    9.0 Presentation
The folks an Insomniac once again deliver a polished experience with a charming story. Plenty of extras, like animated advertisements, only sweeten the deal.
    8.5 Graphics
Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time is a very pretty game with a nice art style. It might not be as mind-blowing as its photo-realistic peers like Uncharted 2, but it sure is easy on the eyes.
    9.0 Sound
Some excellent voice work complements an appropriately themed soundtrack. Radio stations that play during space exploration are sweet.
    9.0 Gameplay
Another fine addition to the Ratchet & Clank series. Enjoyable mix of platforming, shooting and puzzle-solving with awesome weapons to use and level-up. Clank sections get a thumbs up.
    9.0 Lasting Appeal
Although you can get through A Crack in Time in about 12 hours, there's way more beyond that to enjoy. Leveling up all your guns is enough to keep me satisfied.
    9.0
    Outstanding OVERALL
(out of 10 / not an average)

Surprised no one has started an official R&C thread yet, only something on the demo. Any day one buyers besides me? I don't think I'll start playing it till I beat Tools of Destruction though.

not slighting UC2 at all. I just knew i was going to get this before UC2. still can't figure out why i want this more. I think maybe because i had more fun with tools of destruction than i did with UC1. :dunno:

and to think, i usually can't stand platform games like R&C

Day one right here!! I've been waiting for this game for a while now. Unfortunately due to weird lapses in time and terrible decisions on my part I never played through ToD... Enjoyed Quest for Booty but it just wasn't big enough.

I'm a sort of collection fiend, I always get that 120th star. Games like this, Mario 64, the old school Banjo & Kazooie, Donkey Kong 64, Jet Force Gemini, Conker, Crash Bandicoot, Jak & Daxter..... Shit anything with a collection element really gets my noodle going.

Will platnum the shit out of this.

Here, let me save you the trouble.

Guys This game is AMAZING. Definitley something I'm planning to keep, as I havent gotten my R&C fix in months. I only got it for $29, too

next day: This game is ok, not sure If it's as good as previous ones though, seems like a lot of the same gameplay and nothing really new

following day after that: Just cleared this game. Overall ok, I dunno, I might shelf it for a while, I might not, I just know I wont be playing it for a while . Besides, I already got someone who's willing to give me $55 for it

then: random love and/or hate depending on OT's liking of the game

    ...that pretty much cover it?

Game looks top notch as usual but I need to hold out. Been buying too many games lately. I still need to finish Tools of Destruction, and I haven't even touched Age of Booty so maybe I will do that and then pick this up. Might actually make a good x-mas gift since I always buy everything I want and nobody knows what to get me. :o

Played all the ratchet and clanks and the evolution has been fairly meh.

Story is always decent and comedic. Guns and gameplay is engaging. But innovation isn't their strong point. They change some things and add a new gimmick but nothing groundbreaking for the series.

But then again, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
