Official Site Rules - Last Modified 06/02/12

    In an attempt to promote good fellowship and to improve overall site content, I have come up with some simple site rules. From time to time, these rules may change. Stickys will usually be posted if there are major changes. The Terms of Service at the bottom of this page has more requirements that you must meet to use this site.

    Effective immediately, these simple rules supersede all other previously published ones. Individual forums may have additional rules which will be present in a sticky thread in that respective forum.

    Tier 1 Violation
    These violations will definitely get you banned without any warnings.
    Mods will always be on the lookout for these.
    1. Excessive bashing based on race/sex/gender/sexual orientation.
    2. Excessive/repeated trolling. Failure to maintain overall good fellowship/camaraderie, AND/OR if you are consistently unpleasant to other OTers, AND/OR constant negativity.
    3. Stickys in respective forums may state other temporary or forum specific Tier 1 violations.
    4. Registration of more than 1 username without prior permission.
    5. Unsolicited Advertisements/Spam in posts, threads, private messages or username.
    6. Posting naked, partially naked image or videos of any kind of any human being engaged in any form of sexual conduct.
    7. Cross referencing or linking posts from other forums (internal or external) with malicious/baneful intent.
    Tier 2 Violation
    These violations will not always get you banned, warnings MAY be issued the first time, banned thereafter. Multiple instances will definitely get you banned.
    1. Postwhoring - Postwhoring is defined as posting short/unnecessary replies multiple times in the same thread AND/OR creating multiple useless threads with multiple useless replies, AND/OR replying to random threads with same/useless replies.
    2. Noob bashing
    3. Posting not-work-safe content in a thread without warning. Not work safe content is defined as absolutely anything that you may not want your boss or co-worker to see on your monitor. This includes large bold fonts, excessive gore, and other related content. Always put *NWS* before the content, so people at work know not to click on it, regardless of the thread title. Please note that posting naked, partially naked image or videos of any kind of any human being engaged in any form of sexual conduct is a Tier 1 Violation, as stated above.
    4. Avatar and Signatures - Need to be work friendly. Sigs cant be too long. I am not going to limit the number of lines or images, just make sure we dont have to scroll down a lot. Please note that naked, or partially naked images or videos of any human being engaged in any form of sexual conduct is a Tier 1 violation, as stated above.
    5. Posting personal information in the forums, even if they are publicly available.
    6. Using OT to harass someone or attack other sites, or make prank phone calls.
    7. Posting copyrighted content without permisson, or using OT to obtain illegal software/product keys and other warez related content.

    These are the ONLY rules for the main forum

    1. Maintain good fellowship.
    1a. Do not mess with people IRL.
    1b. Don't post spoilers without clearly labeling them as such in the thread title. Don't post the spoiler in the thread title.
    1c. No NWS images unless the THREAD is marked as NWS. Do not post a NWS tagged POST in a thread that is not already marked as NWS.
    2. Do not post anything that violates US laws.
    3. No trolling paid stickys/advertisers/conflict of interest

    Effective immediately, these simple rules supersede all other previously published ones. Individual forums may have additional rules which will be present in a sticky thread in that respective forum. Bans range from a short 3 day break to 30/90 days and Permanent if pushed.

    1. Excessive trolling/bashing and/or general nagativity.
    2. Unsolicited Advertisements/Spam or bashing advertisers.
    3. Posting repetitive large text/font, not-work-safe content and/or spoilers in a thread without warning.
    4. Posting Personal Information.
    5. Posting anything that violates any local, state, federal or international laws.
