We should have an Offical OS X shortcut list as a quick reference file.

    All Screenshot Shortcuts
    Apple + Shift + 3 = Screenshot to file
Apple + Shift + 4 = Selectable Screenshot to file
Apple + Shift + 4, then space = Select window to save to file
    Apple + Shift + Ctrl + 3 = Screenshot to clipboard
    Apple + Shift + Ctrl + 4 = Selectable Screenshot to clipboard
Apple + Shift + Ctrl + 4, then space = Select a window to save to clipboard

is there a shortcut to save a current app and close the entire program? Kind of annoying saving/closing like a text file and then quiting text edit.

It will ask you to save it if it hasnt been saved before/recently.

    Command + C = copy
    Command + V = paste
    Command + X = cut
    Command + Z = undo
Command + . = "Cancel"/Stop Works in dialog boxes (ususally), or stops a running task, like checking mail or what not.

well, there is something you can do

If you go to System Preferences -> Keyboard & Mouse -> Keyboard Shortcuts and click on "Turn on Full Keyboard Access" then you can use the keyboard to select Don't Save, Cancel, and Save when the dialog box slides out.

Two really good apps for today

Quicksilver - A great launcher type application that is fast and has a bunch of unique features. A must have for any iBook/PowerBook user. Set it to "bevel display" in options to make it look like this:

Next up is Whiteout which I couldn't really live without. It removes the ugly metal from all your windows leaving you with the native aqua look. It's important to note that this isn't a skinning application. It simply swaps the texture file of the brushed metal to aqua. You can revert at any time. There is no slow down like there is with skinning programs

Why does it seem that a ton of people hate the brushed metal look? I like it. :dunno:
