so judging by the number of people who replied to my Eluveitie thread (at least 4!) and the general interest in Folk/Pagan/Viking Metal we need an Official Crew.

I'll update this list as it grows
    #1: Hathegkla
#2 Crotch (I took the liberty, you know you want in :hsugh:)
    #3 Revelation
    #4 Upi
    #5 jimbob232
    #6 Kinsbane
    #7 Hophead
    #8 worshipdepraved
    #9 EyeHateThis
#10 1349 (I don't care if you don't like Folk metal, you posted in my thread :squint:)
    #11 k3turbo
    #12 Zeromancer
    #13 Die At Sea
    #14 antiabercrombie

    crotch ; Revelation ; upi ; jimbob232 ; Kinsbane ; Hophead ; worshipdepraved ; EyeHateThis ; 1349 ; k3turbo ; Zeromancer ; Die At Sea ; antiabercrombie ;

I'd also like to get a list of Bands, Albums and Songs we have so we can all check out new music. The Folk Metal genre has exploded in the past few years but its still pretty underground so if we want to stay on top of things we gotta network.

Don't post any direct links to full albums or anything like that unless its on the band website but shit like youtube is fair game (I just want to keep this thread open). Use PM's for anything else.

I don't have my list of shit because I'm at work but I'll get an up to date list of my library of Folk Metal once I get the chance.

Vintersorg is the bees knees. Solens Rotter is in my top 10 this year.

His work in Borknagar should also be noted as fantastic.

Also signing into the "Paganfest isn't coming anywhere fucking near me" crew.

I want Tyr and Ensiferum live damnit.

Guessing I'll just have to settle for Elvenking at Progpower next year as a substitute.

Thanks :bigthumb:. It took a while to build it up after the great hard drive crash of 2004 :wtc:

He's very talented. I have never been a fan of his clean vocals at all, in fact I really can't stand them. It keeps me from listening to his stuff. His old band Otyg wasn't bad.

I'm the same way with his clean vocals. They really bother me for some reason. Can't say I agree with you about Otyg though. The album I've heard was terrible IMO.
