    1. Does your gym allow the use of Chalk?
    2. Do you use chalk?
    3. Do you think using chalk is half mental (grip)?

    im pretty sure that every olympic and powerlifter uses chalk just for mental reasons

    My gym has chalk stations everywhere
    I love it
    I think it helps

    I have chalk all over my car and clothes after the gym

    2) Yes I use it, and get bitched at just about it every week
    3) mental? Not really, no amount of strongminded is going to help me hold onto a slippery bar.

    I'd say thats into the 800's... his best competition pull is 815

    3 Golds and a squat bar is 661... looks to be a good bit more weight on there then that
