    yep, I'm screwed.

Flying on tuesday morning. I'm stuck now doing the annual fit test tomorrow. The problem? I did a real hard arm workout yesterday, and now can't straighten either of my arms out. triceps and chest are hurting bad.

and ive got to do pushups tomorrow.

supplements are a HUGE no-no for aircrew members. most we can do is one-a-day vitamins, and 1 dose of tylenol.

    Allowable medications without waiver

The following medications may be used without consultation or waiver action:

    a. Skin antiseptics, topical antifungals, one percent hydrocortisone cream, or benzoyl peroxide for either minor wounds or acute skin diseases which do not interfere with the performance of flying duties or wear of personnel equipment.
    b. Single doses of aspirin, acetaminophen, or ibuprofen to provide analgesia for minor self-limiting conditions.
    c. Antacids for mild isolated episodes of epigastric distress.
    d. Hemorrhoidal suppositories.
    e. Bismuth subsalicylate for mild afebrile cases of diarrhea.
    f. Oxymetazoline or phenylephrine nasal sprays may be used by aircrew as "get me downs" should unexpected ear or sinus block occur during flight. These should not be used to treat symptoms of congestion existing prior to flight.

    Self-Medication

Aircrew self-medication is prohibited. Self-medication and the unauthorized use of medications by flying personnel is a recurring problem. The number of medications available "over- the-counter" are large and continue to increase in number and kind. The flight surgeon should brief crewmembers annually on the dangers and risks involved in self-medication.

    44 sit ups ( :wtc: )
    55 push ups
    34 inch waist.

need to run the mile and a half in 14:30 to pass

Go get a massage from a sports clinic. Then get a good night's sleep and drink plenty of fluids.

I might have said this before, but I'm going to say it again:

You have the very best job I have ever heard of in the Air Force.

    :bigthumb: i know.

but it's my checkride, so i'm nervous as hell. Once I'm done with this, i'm completely done with training, after nearly 2 years.
