I talked to a microsoft rep while I was mac world...asking for the release date..she said "Second half of the year" I pressed on asking, like "june second half or december second half" she said "second half of the year"
:( they couldn't give me a concrete date...

Not for me. I have iWork '06 and much prefer MS Word over Pages. Keynote >>>>>> PowerPoint, though. Word doesn't run too bad on my MBP but I'm still anxiously waiting for Office 2008.

I like Pages, but sometimes its 'simplicity' can make it a total nightmare to work with. It can fight you every step of the way. So in those cases I just go to Word. At least its predictable.

The data can be imported. That is how I do it, copy and paste.

i was at least hoping a narrower window than "6 months"...not to be asking for much...hell, even tell me fall, or winter...not "last half of the year"
