I've had office 2003 installed for a couple years now, and all of a sudden applications are freezing.

Outlook -- sometimes will say it doens't have enough memory to open, but will less commonly "freeze" once it's open. there is plenty of ram and HD space, so that's absoultely not an issue.

Word & Excel -- will often freeze right on startup when i open a document. i just won't be able to do anything, the mouse pointer won't change from whatever type of pointer is appropriate for where the pointer was when the application opened.

Frontpage -- will freeze while opening or closing some kind of dialog box after i have been working in it for a while.

:dunno: any idea what's going on? i tried searching google about this and didn't really find anything relevant.

You can try to do a detect and repair.

Go to the help menu in one of the Office apps and choose detect and repair. Make sure you have the CD.

You can also check for Office updates too.
