    It's the only thing that will crash randomly when I open word docs or excel files :mad:

    why's this shit so unstable :squint:

    try out neooffice. it's a mac version of openoffice so it's free. personally i like microsoft office better, but you might find neooffice to be better

    parallels + office = pretty good

    i'll check out neooffice though, because parallels totally kills my battery life

    I got a copy of Office X from a buddy, and I thought those problems were exclusive to it because it's an older version. Kinda glad to hear that 2004 is having the same problems.

    Hopefully the next release will be better.

    i meant only graphically. kevin rose made a comment on it. but that could just be his opinion. but i wish outlook could be used for mac also instead of entourage

    really? my dads 20" imac (c1duo) runs office 04 student/teacher ed. and never crashes.

    and all he does with the computer is type letters all day :dunno:

    the screen shots looks ok so far. what bugged me about 2004 is the formatting and other tool bars all over the damn place. looks like they'll be attached to the dock in 2008. no 2007 style ribbons though :sad2:

    I don't think it runs 2007 very well yet but 2004 works pretty good I've heard
