I did this twice before (I Think). Been wating to do this, and I think now is a good time. Lets see what the closet is driving, modifying, obsessing over, etc. Post rides, project cars, DD's etc....One thing I learned coming here, is that my lgbt brothers and sisters are not as the world wants to label us.

    I guess Ill start

    DD 2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT

Its Lowered, K-sport Coilovers, Rota wheels, custom exhaust, up/down pipe, perrin TMIC, cobb accessport and a K&N intake kit...

Project 1987 Volvo 760 Turbo (With the heart of a 1990 940 Turbo)

Seeing as Im broke, not much has been done outside of swapping the motor, (the other had a broken rod)...soon it will be getting a new custom FMIC....odd first modification I know. Then on to rebuilding the suspension.

    This thread = A+++

    Here's my beast:

1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL with 306,000 miles and a straight-pipe exhaust. I just had it dynoed this Saturday. It needs a couple of things cleaned to get the power back up to where it should be. Turbo needs cleaning, in addition to the boost line that tells the injection pump to add fuel for more boost. Currently running 90 hp, 139 lb-ft of torque at the wheels. After the cleaning is done, it will be 148/201 at the crank. After a $10,000 rebuild and a couple of mods, it will be 400/650 at the wheels. :big grin:

It's good to know that I'm not the only queer who is obsessive about cars. I was starting to feel left out and alone. :mamoru:

I'm currently rocking a Chrysler Town and Country Limited as my DD, however in a few weeks this shall change once my 2007 GMC (new) Sierra SLT 4WD Crew Cab comes in and I stop drawing interest off the insurance check from the 07 Tahoe :hs:

Yeah, best cars ever built by Mercedes. I'm glad I finally got one, even if it needs work. No rust and it's a dream on the highway. Plus, I get double-takes from Harley riders due to the exhaust. :big grin: I bought it 3 years ago for $2,200, have put $2,000 into it, and added 50,000 miles to the odometer... not a bad deal so far.

    My vehicle history:

    1987 Mercedes-Benz 300SDL -- 306,000 miles
2000 Volkswagen New Beetle TDI (RIP)
    1987 Mercedes 190D 2.5 Turbo (sold)

Next on my list is going to be the VW Tiguan 2.0 TDI (due in 2008)

More details on the Tiguan? My BF runs his Land Cruiser off biodiesel so he wants a new diesel SUV but only the Touareg is out and that shit is too expensive :hs:

Tiguan will have the 140 horsepower commonrail direct injection 2.0 turbo TDI engine. The gas version is expected to be $25,000, so I expect that the diesel will be about $28,000, maybe a little bit more.

I'm going to start saving now, as the Tiguan is supposed to be released late 2008. :run: If it looks like the orange one above, I'm so there!

Is your bf running B100 in the Land Cruiser? What year Land Cruiser?
