    i'll get triggers elsewhere.

    i already have a 580exII.

I want to have a 2-light strobe setup. Am I missing anything at all that's necessary?

EDIT: New wishlist below. note the almost-hidden softbox on the bottom-right.

Looks about right! Are you getting PWs or cybersyncs?

i think cybersyncs. i really can't justify spending that much $$ on PW's, even though it'd be cool to brag about them. :o

    yeah.

maybe i'll get a smaller umbrella. good catch.

    $15 for a 48" ... that's a no-brainer

I think thats a good idea, 60 is pretty damn big. Everything else looks solid. I got the stroboframe flash bracket but that one should be just as good

That stand is massive and not very mobile.

sandbags or some sort of weight is always nice, especially if you ever planning on doing outdoor/mobile shoots.

okay, went back & made some changes. posted a new cart pic. thoughts?

those light stands got pretty good reviews for how inexpensive they were. they're really not any good?

my photek 60" needed two flashes to light up. and then I quit doing that and went to an Ab1600

unless you have a specific idea/need for the 60, just get regular 45" umbrellas.

    way convenient.

Measurement wise 60 is only a little bigger, but in practice, its HUGE... usu more trouble than its worth for all your normal shooting requirements
just move your 45 a little closer. apparent size rules all

Noted. I was thinking about just getting two 45" ones anyway - figured it would make it a little easier to keep them the same. :dunno:
