The OEM radio on my 97 Monte has started acting up. Over the years I have had to replace the fuse every 6 months or so and tried to do so again since the radio went out last week. BUT, now when I put a fuse in and turn the radio on, it blows the fuse immediately. I tried it a few more times and it did the same thing. Anyone had this problem or know what it could be? Thanks

But no seriously, your radio's power supply is probably going out. Buy a new one.

ummm, it's a 10 year old STOCK radio? why not just spend a couple hundred bucks and replace it?

Yea, something is going bad, maybe shorting, which is BAD. Just replace the deck.
