Hidden gems of the anime world, titles that are overlooked but shouldn't be, off the top of my head I can think of a few that I watched by chance and really enjoyed...

    Lensman
    Windaria
    Robot Carnival

    What are some others?

Robot Carnival was not shown on CN, but on TBS actually.

It was TBS that broadcast Vampire Hunter D (surprisingly unedited), Robot Carnival, and Twilight of the Cockroaches and that's where I first saw them too.

The english diaologue quality on them all was pretty good too, Carl Macek (Streamline Pictures) was very good at producing anime in english back in the 80s.

The Castle of Cagliostro is another classic that was rereleased and painfully redubbed by Manga a few years ago.

I remember seeing Lensman on Sci-Fi back in like, '95.:o I thought it was so cool.

Now I look back on it and think about how much of a Star Wars ripoff it was. But you gotta give those people props for being able to cram the entire Star Wars Trilogy into about 2 hours or less.:bigthumb:
