    uhhh... it's carbs, which are 4 cal/gram

calorie-dense foods have lots of fat, which are 9 cal/g (over twice as many calories to the same mass)

should be fine....stick with the plain instead of the flavored. The flavored insta packs have a lot of sugars in it.

    this one isnt flavored

i got orignal. the only thing compared to "bulk" oatmeal is that theres some kind of texture in it after u stir

i havent tried with milk just with water. so maybe its a water thing.

That's what I use too. It still uses 100% whole rolled oats, and is much quicker. Stick with original and add some stuff to it like sliced apple, strawberries, or a tad of brown sugar.

I sometimes get the flavored ones, but I get the low sugar, all natural kind.

yeah i just wasnt sure, i use plain and plan to stick to it and just add brown sugar/cinnamon to change the taste.

how does it taste with milk? I usually dont chew the oatmeal just swallow it theres a distinct taste i get from it when i use boilling water compared to if i make it with milk the long way.

i aws thinking of bumping it up to 2 packs for breakfast actually and i probably will

If you have a trader joe's near you, you guys should try their frozen oatmeal.

Just nuke it for 3 minutes and you're all set. This is not like you're normal instant oatmeal tho, this has thicker/chunkier consistency.

It's a little expensive, $1.50 for 2 servings, but it's worth it in my opinion.

You people make this compilcated, just buy a huge tub of quick oats, or rolled oats. Add water and nuke when you're ready to eat it.

Yeah. 2 minutes in the microwave. How much quicker can it be.

The only benefit I could see for the quickpacks is portability if you're carrying them around to eat somewhere other than at home.

I buy the goddamn costco crate, and eat em at work using a red cup and hot water out of the cooler. I usually pour a package of quaker flavored oatmeal and a scoop of protein in there, pour hot water in, stir, let the oats rehydrate or whatever, and just drink the damn thing down. Maybe 250 cal and like 30g protein, better than nothing.

and it's like 12 grams of sugar, are you guys srsly gonna complain about 50calories :greddy:
