I recieved the agreements and information on Oakely's Mil & Government Pricing.

Basically they have a array of their Sunglasses that are (SI) standard issue. These include, half jackets, half wires, square wire etc. There are about 15 non-polarized models available and about 12 polarized models available. They also have the M-Frames, assault goggles etc. There is also other gear like the Oakley Assault boots, bags etc. You can even order RX lenses if you want.

If you are interested pm your military email address and I will forward the information on to you.

I went to a few Sunglass Huts and they told me they didn't offer military discounts.

I guess only some locations do.

You can do this through yourself. At one time Oakely had a min purchase requirement but it no longer exists. Basically you just need to send in a pictuer of your ID, plus fill out the agreement. For instance I paid $175 for some Half Wire Xl's that were $175 at Sunglass Hut. They're $75 through this.

I want the boots, but then I will have new uniforms and I don't know if the boots will match the requirements for the uniform and if they don't then I have just wasted my money on boots that I cannot wear and if I cannot wear them then what would I do with them but sell them on eBay but I signed a contract saying I wouldnt sell them and mom told me never to break contracts because that is my word and my word is my bond and I don't want to break any bonds like the bonds that berry bonds broke when he said he didnt do any drugs.

The Assault boots are garbage. I bought a pair before my deployment and they were fine for working at home station, but soon after I got into country they started falling apart. The glue wasn't holding the front of the shoe in place and started peeling off. I ended up having to superglue it together.

And now I am wearing Merrell's.

Yea like reygarcia said. Most guys said they're comfy and nice for a garrison enviroment but if you are using them alot out in the field they are definetley not made for that.

As far as the contract goes its a hard call. As long you don't sell them for a profit....

No military e-mail here... I am a lowly state reserve person while waiting for my OCS date... but I like the idea...

The boots suck.. They are definately very comfortable but don't hold up worth a shit.

We did 5 legs (2km each) for LANDNAV and my boots were falling apart at the end of it...(Up at Ft. Dix in Jan.)

you'd think they would do something about the boots.

i'd like to check out what they have to offer since i'm going to the army soon.
what's up with the military e-mail?
do i need secret clearance or something?
